Holiday Blood Drive Severe Blood Shortage!

The Lyndhurst Police Emergency Squad  will be holding its Last blood drive of 2012 on Saturday December 22nd  from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the LPES building located on 297 Delafield Ave in Lyndhurst. Give a very special gift to someone this holiday season… Your Blood Donation!

Every Donor will get a free Blood Center of NJ Tee Shirt

Blood donations are needed due to Superstorm Sandy. At least 16 states have had to cancel or postpone blood drives due to Sandy. That has caused a shortage of blood and platelets in blood banks nationwide. The American Red Cross says there is a shortfall of nearly 12,000 units.
